Ms. Paula's Musikgarten
Known by over three decades of Montessori students as Ms. Paula, Paula Craig continues to offer classes to:
Toddlers and Parents, Primary Children (3 - 6 yrs.), and Elementary Children (ages 5 - 9).
Through song and music making, as well as movement and exploration of sensorial materials, each child is lovingly attended and gently guided into an understanding of the creative relationships with self and world on which both individuality and culture are based.

MUSIKGARTEN
THE CYCLE OF THE SEASONS
_____________________________________________________
is an International music program for primary children (3, 4, and 5 year olds) and parents
These songs, dances, poetry and instruments have been exquisitely designed by Audrey Sillick, the Director Emeritus of the Toronto Montessori Teacher Training Institute and Dr. Lorna Heyge, Pres. of Music Matters, to train the voice, to refine your child’s sensorial experience and make a highly significant impact on development.
Parents are invited to join the group for the last 10 minutes of each session. A special pouch of Family Materials is suggested for each season. It includes a song and games cassette or C.D., illustrated cards, and a parents’ booklet to reinforce the child and share with the rest of the family (cas. or C.D. — please note on application)
Classes missed can be made up on a different day.
The order for the pouch of Family Materials will be made from enrollment. A class size limit applies.

WHY TEACH EARLY CHILDHOOD MUSIC? Research has clearly proved that it develops the brain and nervous system (language, coordination and the mathematical mind). Dr. Montessori taught us that the better the needs of one developmental period are met, the more fully the next developmental period can be realized. It is our privilege and our duty to our children to provide them with a vibrant, carefully thought-out environment in which they can develop their gifts. From birth to six they are in their most sensitive period for music and movement. |
